Modern Warfare 3 Review

This was most definitely my favorite blog for the year. In both aspects of being fun to create and fun to be able to talk about the game I love the most. The review had my opinion on every part of the game, which came from me and not online, well practically all the information came from me. Other than like official descriptions of things I wrote most of it because know pretty much everything there is to know about the game. Some people (as in my parents) may even say I played video games too much when I played this lol, I disagree wish I got to play more.

This review will always stand out from all the rest, even though some of the presentations of other ones are better, this will always be my best blog. I say this because I explain basically everything from my own experience and not from just playing the game a few times. I played hours upon hours of this game with friends when I had it and I enjoyed every second, minute or hour played. Even if I wasn't doing the best I still loved to play the game. 

Well I'm not sure I can say anymore without repeating myself over and over, so I'll just end it here by saying thanks to Mrs. B (The best English teacher ever):

Call of Duty: Black Ops II Backwards Compatible

Game summary:
Call of Duty: Black Ops II is a first-person shooter video game, developed by treyarch and published by Activision. It was released on November 13, 2012 for Microsoft Windows, Playstation 3 and Xbox 360. Black Ops II is the first game in the Call of Duty franchise to feature future warfare technology and the first to present branching storylines driven by player choice as well as selecting weapons before staring story mode missions.

Gameplay:
Campaign-
As said in the summary Black Ops II is the fist Call of Duty video game to feature branching storylines, in which player's choice affects both the current mission and in turn, the overall course of the story. Which these branching storylines are called "Strike Force Missions".

Multiplayer-

• One of the biggest changes added to multiplayer is the introduction of Pick 10, which is a new system within the Create-a-Class menu. This gives the player a total of 10 allocation slots in a class, which are used for guns, perks, grenades, etc...
• Kill-streaks from previous Call of Duty games are renamed as Score-streaks, which are now earned by gaining points, rather than kills.
• Unlike past games, weapons in BO2 have a progression system, which is used to unlock weapon attachments. When the gun is maximum level the player can choose to prestige the gun, like they prestige the player. In exchange the player can customize their weapons with custom clan tags and emblems.
• Also BO2 was the first to include a competitive game mode. Known as League Play, the mode allows players of similar skill to be matched together.

Zombies-

Treyarch confirmed that zombies would return for Black Ops II with new game modes. They have also confirmed that zombies would run on the games multiplayer engine. A new game mode called "Grief" was added, which is an 8 player co-op, with two teams of four competing to survive. Another form of zombies is "Tranzit" where up to four players go around different maps collecting information of what lies ahead of what they are wiling to discover.

Reverse Compatibility/ My Opinion:

For several months Black Ops 2 was assumed to be coming to Xbox one's Reverse compatible service. Backwards compatibility means that games from the older console, Xbox 360, can be played on the newer consoles, Xbox one/one s, and can be played with people from the older consoles as well. Many people have been waiting for this since the remastered edition of Modern Warfare 2 came out, and some have been wanting it from before that. I personally could not wait until this game was reverse compatible, along with basically all of my friends I play with. When it finally came out we played for hours upon hours. We couldn't get enough of it! All in all this is one of my favorite games to play. There is only that off occasion that hackers ruin the game for me when they are invisible or can't die or something. Other that that I give this game a 10/10.

IGN- GTA 5 Review

IGN summary:

GTA Online, the multiplayer component of GTA 5 launched October 1, 2013. GTA Online was free to play for everyone who purchased a copy of GTA 5. GTA Online was enabled by a software download patch.

GTA Online is a dynamic and persistent online world for Thirty players. The game will let you and friends team up to tackle missions, activities, and ambient events, as well as competing with others in more traditional game modes.

My opinion:

Even thought this review is a bit old, I still think it would help people who are just starting the game. They do tell you what to expect in this particular part of the game, GTA online. The topics they said are things that you definitely encounter and should get familiar with when online. Getting used to this game is pretty easy, well if you have played older GTA games, playing those would definitely come in handy. The only thing that I would have to suggest is that since they are a well visited site, maybe they could update some games like this that get other updates, so new players will have a better idea of what to expect. Personally I have been playing the game series since GTA San Andreas and coming from those I didn't think GTA 5 would have been so modern. The IGN review did go into more details on there site:

Battlefield Hardline Review

Game Summary/Trailer:
Battlefield Hardline is a first-person shooter video game developed by Visceral Games in collaboration with EA DICE and published by Electronic Arts. It was released in March, 2015 for Microsoft Windows, Playstation 3, Playstation 4, Xbox 360 and Xbox one. Unlike the previous games in the Battlefield series, Hardline focuses on crime, heist and policing elements instead of military warfare.

Gameplay:
The game has most of the same game modes as the other Battlefield games like conquest and Capture the Flag but now the creatures have added new, more exciting game modes.
There are many new game modes in Hardline including "Heist","Rescue","Hotwire","Blood Money" and "Crosshair":
Heist- In this one team ,The robbers, rob a armored truck and the other team, The Police, must stop them before they get to the extraction point.

Blood Money- This game mode is when two teams race to the center of the map and collect money from crates and take it back to their armored truck. Teams can steal from each other by killing one another, the team that makes it to $5 million first wins.

Hotwire- In this, the traditional game mode conquest is remade in a different way. teams must get in cars and drive around draining the other teams tickets to win. Instead of capturing the flag they capture a car and the team who reduces the other's to zero or who has the most tickets when the time is up wins.

Rescue- This game mode is very simple, one team rescues the target and the other team tries to kill the rescuers. The two teams are S.W.A.T and Criminals, for the S.W.A.T to win they must rescue the target and for the Criminals to win they must kill all of the S.W.A.T before time runs out.

Crosshair- In this game mode Criminals are trying to kill a player controlled VIP on the cops side who is a former gang member turned states witness. The criminals win by killing the VIP and the cops win by getting the VIP to the extraction point.

My opinion:

In my opinion this is a pretty fun game, the new game modes are a nice addition to it. Along wit other different guns and very unique melee weapons. My favorite weapons to use is the taser, I find it very funny that in the gam it kills someone immediately unlike in real life. Also I personally like that they have some of the guns from older games in it still. There are some bad things about the game though, I think the campaign could have been better and just some little things about online that aren't that big of a deal. In the end I think I would give this game a 9/10 since it does have some problems.

Tom Clancy's Ghost Recon: Wildlands

Game Summary:

Tom Clancy's Ghost Recon Wildlands is an open world tactical shooter video game developed by Ubisoft Paris. Ubisoft describes it as one of the biggest open world games that they have ever published, with the game world including a wide variety of environments such as mountains, forests, deserts and salt flats. It was released on March 7th, 2017 for the platforms Xbox one, Playstation 4 and Microsoft Windows.

Gameplay:

Wikipedia says, Tom Clancy's Ghost Recon Wildlands is an open world, tactical shooter utilizing a third person perspective with an optional first-person view for gun aiming. Players play as members of the Ghosts, a "fictional" elite special operations team in the United States Army. The game will not feature the futuristic setting used in Advanced Warfighter and Future Soldier, but will instead adopt a modern-day setting, similar to the original Tom Clancy's Ghost Recon. As a result the equipment featured in the game will be based on weapons and gear commonly used by military forces around the world. 

When completing missions, players can reach the location where the mission starts through a variety of ways. Players can parachute from a helicopter, walk overland, or drive towards their objectives. Players are allowed to use multiple ways to complete objectives, such as utilizing stealth, melee combat, or using the long-ranged or short-ranged weapons provided in the game.

When not completing missions, players can interact and build friendly or hostile relationships with other non-playable characters, such as citizens, officials or the rebels of the world. These interactions require strategy, as interactions will bring consequences and impact the game's world and change how players can achieve their objectives. Players can also gan experience points to level up. The playable character can be customized and loot found on enemies' corpses can be equipped by player characters.

The game features co-operative multiplayer, in which players can be joined by up to three other players to explore the game's world and to complete campaign mission. The game can also be played solo, in which the player will be accompanied by three AI teammates, which the player can give orders to.

My opinion:

I haven't played this game before, but I have heard that this game is very fun and I have also seen videos of the game which look very nice. The game quality looks very nice from what I see and the gameplay actions look incredible. I really want to buy this game since I have played other Tom Clancy's games like Rainbow Six Siege which is very fun to play with friends so this game being and open-world game must be very fun to play with friends. From what I saw, heard and researched about this game I would give this game a 10/10.

Red Dead Redemption Review

Summary:
Red Dead Redemption is an open world western action-adventure video game developed by Rockstar San Diego and published by Rockstar Games.The game is played in a third-person perspective in an open world environment, allowing the playing to interact with the world at their leisure The game, set during the decline of the American Frontier in the year 1911, follows John Marston, a former outlaw whose wife and son are taken hostage by the government in ransom for his services as a hired gun.
 Having no other choice, Marston sets out to bring the three members of his former gang to justice.

Gameplay:
Multiplayer-
Red Dead Redemption includes online multiplayer with a maximum of 16 players per session. Every multiplayer game, both free-for-all and team based, will begin a Mexican Standoff. Survivors of the standoff will be able to move to any part of the battlefield in preparation for respawning enemies. Crates in the environment contain extra weapons, ammo and other power ups. Players can level up and complete weapon challenges which earn them rewards such as new character models, golden weapon skins, new titles and new breeds of animal mounts.The Undead Nightmare pack included two new game modes: Undead overrun mode and Land Grab. It also included eight new zombie characters.

My opinion:

I don't have this game anymore but when I played it, on Xbox 360, I loved to play it. I didn't play the undead addition a lot so I don't really remember a lot from that part of the game but the rest of the game was so fun to play. When I first got the game I had no idea how to play so I would play just to get killed by other people or I would try to kill a bear or any big animal I saw and it would end up killing me instead. I think Red Dead Redemption 2 will be a great sequel to the game, especially how it's going to be for the newer consoles and the quality will be much better and the graphics will also be great as well. I can't wait for it! For now Red Dead Redemption gets a 10/10 from me.
